The house is made of packed earth (pisé), as are many of the traditional houses in the Dombes. Over the years, by successive restorations and extensions, the house has changed a considerable amount, but has kept it's traditional and regional style.
The house is large and the yard and garden around it is spacious. There is a play area made of wooden poles for the children, as well as a large sandpit for the small ones. Next to the garden, a large field enables us to provide pasturage for horses. Surrounded by fields, the house is very calm and our closest neighbours are over half a kilometer away.
